Our matatu uses GPS-triggered audio technology. As the bus approaches each landmark, the story automatically begins. No need to press anything.

Do I need an internet connection?

No. The tour is preloaded in the system. No data required once onboard.

Can I bring children?


Yes, children above 6 years old are welcome. The tour is family-friendly and safe.

What language is the tour available in?

The tour is currently available in English. Other language versions are in development.

Is it a private or shared tour?


You’ll share the bus with other travellers, but everyone gets their own seat.

Can I stop and explore?


Yes, the tour includes designated stops for photos, snacks, and restroom breaks.

What should I bring?

Comfortable clothes, a phone or camera for pictures, and an open mind!

What is included in the price?

Your ticket includes transportation in an a comfortable matatu, a GPS audio guide, entry to the Kenya National Archives, Uhuru Gardens, and Bomas of Kenya, plus bottled water and soft drinks. 

What is not included in the price

Meals, optional cultural shows at Bomas of Kenya, personal purchases, and hotel transfers are not included in the price.
